The Appalachian Teachers' Association is the union representing the teachers employed by the Eastern Townships School Board of Quebec. It is dedicated the promotion of teaching excellence, school community spirit and cooperation, the employment satisfaction and economic conditions of its members.
The Appalachian Teachers' Association is a member of the Quebec Provincial Association of Teachers which works in cooperation with the Centrale des Syndicates du Quebec to negotiate working and salary conditions for the teachers of Quebec.
